ABout the foundation
My son, Randall Heffron, died at age 20 at the end of his first week of sophomore year in college. As parents in the journey of grief one of our greatest fears when we lose a child is that they will be forgotten or their life will have lost meaning because they died too young to fully develop a life worthy of remembering. As a Mother, my prayer, is that The Randall Heffron Foundation may inspire you to find hope in recognizing your child's individual message to the world.
The Randall Heffron Foundation was started from a three point perspective. First, our purpose is to perpetuate and honor Randall's legacy. Second, we work to give back to the community through service to others in the spirit through which Randall lived his life. Third, we hope to inspire grieving parents, siblings, and friends who have experienced the loss of a child by illustrating a way for them to move passed the grief from the loss to a place of peace and hope through service to others.
